Kesha Files Lawsuit Against Dr. Luke For Sexual Assault And Battery

Kesha filed a lawsuit against producer Dr. Luke, accusing him of sexual assault and years of physical, verbal and emotional abuse.

In a bombshell new lawsuit, Kesha, whose full name is Kesha Rose Sebert, has previously partially slammed  Dr. Luke for playing a major role to the eating disorder and other emotional issues that landed her in rehab earlier this year, but the allegations in a new court filing obtained by celebrity website TMZ are far more serious.

According to Kesha, Dr. Luke, whose real name is Lukasz Gottwald, often made sexual advances since he signed her as an 18-year-old artist and once forced her to snort a substance before boarding a plane, at which point he forced himself on her.

Kesha was "an intelligent, family-oriented, and joyful young woman" before Dr. Luke "showered her with promises of fame and fortune" and induced her to sign a contract with him in 2005, her lawsuit claimed.

Instead of living a life of Hollywood glamour, she "lived in a prison of his abuse," the lawsuit added.

The singer reveals that on a different occasion he offered her with what he called "sober pills," and that she woke up the next day naked in his bed and without remembering what had occurred.

According to Kesha, 27, the producer once physically attacked her at his Malibu residence, forcing her to run barefoot down the Pacific Coast Highway and seek refuge in nearby mountains.

Kesha is asking a judge to let her escape her contract with Dr. Luke and her lawyer Mark Geragos states to TMZ that his client is seeking to "regain control of her music career and her personal freedom after suffering for ten years as a victim of mental manipulation, emotional abuse and an instance of sexual assault."
